¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás? Me llamo Andrea.
I am a qualified Spanish teacher since 12 years ago.
Teaching Spanish is one of my passions, by the years I have been teaching Spanish as a second languaje to children, teenagers and adults who needed to learn it for different reasons.
I love to help you to communicate Spanish bit by bit, by enjoying the process of learning.
I speak Spanish, my mother tongue, also I speak English, Dutch and of course Catalan.
Creativity and having fun are two things I cannot live without, so the same applies in my Spanish courses.

I had the pleasure of working with El Sol on a collaboration project for my VWO 4 Spanish students at Wolfert Tweetalig in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Andrea and her team organised an interactive Spanish language and culture activity week for 80+ students. The activities included, but were not limited to: online morning Spanish lessons, various afternoon workshops & games and a live concert with the band, Los Paja Brava. This was all managed and carried out following the corona measures of that time. The students and teachers alike all gave positive feedback on a very memorable week.
Not only do I recommend El Sol for their Spanish lessons, but also for collaboration projects as mentioned above.
I look forward to working with El Sol on future projects without the limitations of a global pandemic.
Andrea is an excellent teacher who teaches you Spanish in a very practical manner. Often by talking about last week events you dive into learning new stuff. It's a fun way to learn and also useful, because you actually learn how to have a conversation.
Andrea always tries to have groups of equal level, and during the lockdowns she managed to very well to have good classes online.

Mijn dochter van 6 jaar heeft deelgenomen aan de les. Zo geduldig dat ze met kinderen is. Leuk om te zien hoe ze thuis komt met woorden en liedjes. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden.
I did a course at El Sol Spanish courses because I wanted to improve my Spanish. I was at a level that I already could understand and speak quite well but I never properly learned the grammar. Andrea explained it so well that it felt easy about things that before I never got through books or apps. The course helped me a lot and I feel much more confident to speak now. Andrea is very patient, professional, kind and always happy and she made me feel welcome.

I have been talking Spanish classes with Andrea for 6 months and really enjoy it! The classes are small (2-3 students), so there is a lot of personal attention. Andrea is an experienced teacher, very knowledgeable and flexible when it comes to scheduling the classes. Furthermore, on my request, she also elaborates on practices in e.g. Mexican Spanish where relevant in the classes.
I've been taking Spanish classes at El Sol for about half a year now and have been loving every class, first with Martin and later with Andrea, and soon starting a 3rd course. My classes were in small groups so you get a lot of opportunity to speak, they put a lot of emphasis on talking Spanish (both teacher & students) as much as possible so the Dutch / English is kept to a minimum, and they teach the language in a fun way (including games!). Because we all speak so much Spanish in class I've been learning much faster than with previous teachers and really recommend El Sol!

I have taken a lot of different Spanish classes in the last years. Both from public and private institutions. Andrea's Spanish school was by far the best I have been to. The two courses (one individual, one in a group) finally brought my Spanish out of the awkward initial stages. In the individual classes I gained a lot of confidence which helped me before joining a group lesson. I highly recommend El Sol and Andrea to anyone willing to work on the Spanish. Saludos!

Andrea geeft op een leuke manier les, doordat ze veel verschillende lesmethodes toepast. Ook brengt ze veel in van de Spaanse cultuur. Ik heb les gehad van Andrea in 2020 voor conversatie lessen. De focus lag op het vaardig worden in spreken. Indien nodig maakte ze uitstapje om de grammatica te verfrissen. Ik heb met veel plezier de lessen gevolgd!

After a little over a year Spanish classes with Andrea are still as exciting to me as the first day. I have not encountered a teacher with a fun and personal approach like this before. She makes your classes worthwhile by going beyond just teaching you the language in the form of educational games and events. I have been following group classes in El Sol for over 1 year and it is still so much fun. Andrea is a really good teacher who lets you have a lot of personal input in the classes. She also organizes language exchanges where you can speak to native Spanish speakers. This helps me a lot in my progress. I would definitely recommend taking Spanish classes at El Sol.

Andrea is a super friendly teacher and she really starts from the level that fits you. Its very personal and i have learned a lot. I wanted to start with more past times, so we just started with that. If you want to learn Spanish in a fun way, Andrea's school is the place to go!!
I had intermediate Spanish classes with Andrea in a small group and it was a great experience! We learned a lot but we also discussed about Spanish culture, played games, had tapas! Andrea is a great teacher, very excited about teaching Spanish and fun :D I highly recommend!

Ik volg privélessen bij Andrea en de manier waarop zij les geeft is heel fijn. Stap voor stap leer je ongemerkt heel veel Spaans, op een speelse en toch gestructureerde en stimulerende manier. Andrea gave me private Spanish lessons during 18 months.
My heavy workload, irregular hours and frequent travelling required often rescheduling but Andrea proved to be very flexible and understanding.
She alternates her lessons with reading, grammar, listening exercises, books and newspaper articles which made it fun, interesting and very stimulating to continue.

Ik volg sinds deze zomer prive lessen bij Andrea van El Sol. Ik ben dankzij haar gevarieerde lessen al behoorlijk vooruit gegaan in een korte periode. Andrea kan op een goede, leuke en eenvoudige manier de geheimen van de Spaanse taal inzichtelijk maken.

Na het volgen van een aantal cursussen bij een groot taleninstituut was ik op zoek naar een meer persoonlijke aanpak om verder Spaans te leren.
Bij El Sol volg je lessen in kleine groepjes, zodat je veel persoonlijke aandacht krijgt.
Je leert hier veel meer, door bijvoorbeeld leuke de originele spelletjes die je met je klas doet. Dit zorgt ervoor dat je woordenschat veel sneller uitbreidt en de lesstof beter blijft hangen.
Naast dat Andrea heel leuk en enthousiast is, neemt ze ook echt de tijd voor je om alles goed uit te leggen.

Andrea is een fantastische lerares! Haar lessen zijn een perfecte combi van de warme Spaanse gezelligheid en serieuze lesstof. Grammatica wordt afgewisseld met lessen in spelvorm of het leren van Spaanse liedjes.
Ze zorgt dat je je helemaal op je gemak voelt, zodat je niet onzeker hoeft te zijn over je uitspraak en is het voorbeeld van de warme Spaanse gezelligheid!
